Finding jobs across LinkedIn, hiring posts and Naukri
By Mr Job Agent · Reviewed
Mr Job Agent searches configured LinkedIn job listings, LinkedIn hiring-feed posts and Naukri listings. These are different sources with different coverage. Review source counts and last-checked times, then open the original listing or post before deciding to apply.
A job listing and a hiring post are different opportunities
A structured listing normally has a job title, employer, location and an application destination. A hiring-feed post is a public post describing a vacancy or asking candidates to contact someone. Relevant opportunities can appear in either place, so a LinkedIn Jobs search alone is not the same as searching hiring posts.
In Searched Jobs, filter by LinkedIn Jobs, LinkedIn Feed Posts or Naukri. Source counts distinguish records collected from those that passed validity, freshness and location checks. A zero count for a source needs to be read alongside its collection status; it does not prove that the source has no jobs.
Search for related work, not just one exact title
Companies often use different titles for similar responsibilities. Senior Marketing Manager, Senior Manager — Digital Marketing and Director of Demand Generation may overlap in some duties while differing significantly in seniority and scope. Add the variations you actually want, then assess the description.
Location is an independent choice. Choose India, specific cities, other countries or remote work as appropriate. A US-based role is not automatically eligible for an India-based applicant merely because its title matches. Remote work can also have country or time-zone restrictions; check the employer's requirements.
Why might a job I found elsewhere be missing?
A logged-in recommendation feed can use your account activity, profile and personalized recommendations. Mr Job Agent uses configured public-source collection rather than copying your signed-in Naukri recommendations or LinkedIn feed. Those result sets can differ.
Other causes include a different title or location, an older posting, incomplete date information, source access problems, a collection cap or a vacancy that has not appeared in the collected results. A recent repost on a source can also differ from the timestamp returned by its collector.
Searches normally focus on the preceding 24 hours. Source availability and collection limits mean coverage is not exhaustive. Keep checking the original sources when you need the broadest possible search; no result count here should be treated as the total number of vacancies in the market.
Understand freshness and shared discovery
Each saved search shows when its source data was checked and how many records were reused or newly collected. Public results may be shared across overlapping searches for up to four hours to avoid repeating the same collection. Your search still applies its own posting window and location eligibility.
A new saved search can therefore contain recently reused listings rather than a brand-new source fetch. Reuse does not change a job's posting date or imply that the vacancy is still open. Open the original page to confirm availability before investing time in an application.
Decide what to do with each opportunity
Read the employer's requirements, verify the application destination and watch for recruitment-payment requests. You can generate a tailored resume for a selected job, prepare optional outreach or choose to skip it.
For a hiring-feed post, follow the author's stated application instructions only after checking their identity and the employer. Mr Job Agent does not email recruiters or apply automatically. Your saved search remains private and is retained for 30 days.
